About Wollert

Derived from a Woiwurrung word describing a place inhabited by possums, Wollert has a steep rural history with most of the parish stemming from farmland.

25km north west of the CBD, Wollert’s western and eastern boundaries are the Merri and Darebin Creeks. Epping is on its southern boundary and Donnybrook is at its rural north.

Now a bustling locale for the spread of new estates, the infrastructure in Wollert provides residents a wide range of shopping facilities, schools and childcare facilities, cafes and eateries, as well as parklands and walking trails to please everyone.
