International Men’s Day

International Men’s Day is observed on November 19th every year. It is a day to raise awareness about men’s issues and celebrate positive male role models. The day aims to promote discussions on topics such as men’s health, gender equality, and positive male contributions to society. International Men’s Day is an opportunity to recognize and address the unique challenges faced by men while also promoting a more inclusive and equal world for everyone.

The themes for the day may vary each year, focusing on different aspects of men’s lives and the challenges they may encounter. The theme for 2023 is ‘Zero Male Suicide’

The month of November is important for the masculine soul because it gathers several events that are important to men. Movember is the month we focus on raising money for men’s health. On November 20, we celebrate International Children’s Day which then forms 48 hours of celebration for men and children, and the special relationship they share.

International Men’s Day encourages men to teach the boys in their lives the values, character and responsibilities of being a man. It is only when we all, both men and women, lead by example that we will create a fair and safe society that allows everyone the opportunity to prosper.
