Jeans for Genes day is on Friday the 2nd of August 2024. The concept behind “Jeans for Genes” is to use the wearing of jeans as a way to engage people in supporting the cause. Participants are encouraged to make a donation, which goes toward funding research, supporting affected families, and raising awareness about genetic disorders.
1 in 20 kids faces a birth defect or genetic disease, like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and metabolic disorders. That’s 12 kids born every minute worldwide. The official Jeans for Genes website has multiple ways you can get involved by registering in baking, wearing jeans, organising events at school and work.
